how to use

apply a quarter-size amount of the izumi tonic shampoo to wet hair, massage into scalp using fingers and palms, rinse thoroughly, shampoo twice for extra hydration and nourishment, follow with the izumi tonic hair mask. apply a quarter-size amount of the izumi tonic treatment mask to wet hair, gently massage through wet hair from mid-lengths to ends, leave on for five to ten minutes, rinse thoroughly. complete the routine with shu uemura’s izumi tonic energizing water and thickening serum (sold separately) for a complete professional regimen for fragile hair.

It's thick and I was concerned it would weigh down my hair after rinsing but no, hair had no residue and felt light with body. I will purchase again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nancy Phuong from I would like to buy it again Since I only wash my hair 1-2x a week, this strengthening mask is perfect for my hair rather than just a regular conditioner. The formula has strengthened, repaired, and added much needed moisture to my long, fine, dry hair. I have noticed a significant difference in my hair's texture, it's much softer and smoother. The moisture levels have increased making my hair look and feel fuller. I've had less fallout during rinsing, and much less breakage while brushing. My only complaint with this product is the packaging. As amazing as it is that the jar is made from 95% recycled plastic, the texture of it is incredibly slippery and makes the cap very difficult to unscrew with wet hands. Had this mask been put in a squeeze tube or bottle with a pump, it would be perfect.
