Q+A:
How do you determine which prep product to begin with?
When determining which prep product is best I like to start by determining the desired end result. From there I can categorize which products would work best based on the look; whether it requires strong hold, high shine, etc.
Do you have a favorite go-to?
Shiki Worker Blow Dry Primer is my absolute favorite go-to product because of the 7 instant benefits. I am always looking to hydrate and boost radiance, and Wonder Worker truly does it all..
How do you think the precious ingredient story plays into speaking to products with clients?
Understanding and visualizing the precious ingredients helps me understand why the product perform so well. I receive the same feedback from my clients as well.
What makes Shu so appealing to clients and stylists?
Shu Uemura Art of Hair has a sleek and clear appearance not only as retail appearance but the art of hair behind the brand, I truly believe that is so appealing to clients and stylist.
Which two products can you not live without? And why?
Shiki Worker Blow Dry Primer and Essence Absolue Overnight Serum are two products I could not live without because they keep my hair hydrated with the perfect amount of moisture without leaving it to heavy resulting in being able to wear my hair day 2 or day 3.
